Mild week ahead, but first taste of wintry weather forecast for the October Bank Holiday weekend

Met Eireann has predicted that the next few days will remain relatively mild for the time of year, but there will be a significant dip in temperatures just in time for the October Bank Holiday weekend.

Daytime temperatures will likely reach 14-15C over the coming days, with good sunny spells and little in the way of rain.

Come the weekend however, temperatures are expected to take a tumble as a mass of cold air moves in.
