Millions tune in across the world to watch The Undertaker take on John Cena at Wrestlemania 34

*Spoiler alert – If you haven’t seen the match yet – don’t read his.

It may be scripted but that doesn’t stop millions tuning in around the world.

Wrestlemania 34 saw “The Deadman” The Undertaker come back from retirement to take on “The Champ” John Cena in what was the first Wrestlemania match in history to not have a build-up.

The match eventually did happen and Taker was in no mood to take any prisoners. In less than 3 minutes he demolished John Cena with a showcase of all his signature moves, including the “old school” rope walk and his infamous tombstone pile-driver.

Getting the 1, 2, 3 pin in such a quick time means that 53-yr-old Mark Calaway can ensure he has a chance to compete again if he wishes. Over the last number of years, he’s been in one match a year at Wrestlemania and judging by tonight’s performance, if he keeps them short – who knows how long he can go on for.

Whether or not The Undertaker really will retire now or not remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, with the hashtag #Wrestlemania and #Undertaker trending number 1 and 2 around the world, you can rest assured he’s almost guaranteed to be back at Wrestlemania 35.
