Dublin Bus have revealed they are more than willing to refund over 13,000 commuters for fees collected during the recent strikes.
The company say they are still trying to refund a high quantity of people who have failed to apply for a refund.
It is understood the company are willing to shell out over €500,000 in refunds to people who were affected during the six days of industrial action in September.
According to the company only 25% of the 17,000 people with annual commuter tickets have applied for a refund of €40 which is due to them as a result of the dispute.
Meanwhile a company spokeswoman said it had been completely upfront about the process of claiming refunds, and anyone wishing to do so can apply online or contact them by phone.
