There was more good news for job seekers today as one of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical developers has announced that they will create a further 300 jobs at its Limerick plant.
The comapny behind the jobs boost Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, say the new jobs will be created within the next 12 months and that it will increase its workforce to 800 people by the end of 2018.
It is understood the chain who develop drugs for illnesses such as cancer and heart disease, have decided to create the extra positions as part of its €100m investment that will increase its global operations and therefore make it one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Europe.
The country who took over the vacant Dell plant just over two years ago currently employes 570 people at its Irish base.
