The weather has been nothing short of atrocious of late, with Storm Fionn and multiple status yellow weather warnings being issued Met Eireann.
However, there appears to be some good news in sight. Although the roads are to remain somewhat frosty tonight and tomorrow morning, temperatures are set to rise from tomorrow afternoon.
Motorists have been advised to take extra care until the cold snap subsides but at last there appears to be a break in the weather with temperatures “soaring” to a around 10 or 11c from Sunday afternoon.
