A mother has been hailed after she refused to use any pain relief medication whilst giving birth to a record 12lbs 6oz baby boy in Australia.
The woman, Niki Bell, 28, has been given great praise from fellow mums after she gave birth to baby Parker James Bell on Thursday.
Baby Parker who has set a new Australian record was the talk of Blactown Hospital after he left doctors stumped.
Speaking about the birth of her new son Niki said she wasn’t to fazed about using pain relief as she said all births hurt no matter the size of the baby.
The news of baby Parker’s arrival was shared around the world after the Blactown Hospital maternity unit posted the following message on Facebook.
The message reads as follows: “New record”.
“We are happy to report the not so little Parker and mum Nikki are doing well”
