The HSE has issued a warning in relation to a recent outbreak of mumps around the Galway area.
It is understood that a number of children living in Claregalway have symptoms of the disease.
The Health Service Authority has said that anyone who’s unsure about their vaccination status should contact their GP to receive an additional dose.
