There was controversy throughout the country this weekend as a number high profile TD’s were shown the Dail door by the electorate, but there may be more controversy to come after a recent report highlighted what our naughty government ministers have been up to on the Dail’s computers.
It has been revealed that a number of sitting TD’s and Senators have been scandalously using Government buildings computers to access a variety of pornographic, gambling and dating websites.
According to a report in the Sunday Independent it is believed that over 2,280 ‘inappropriate’ sites were accessed during a four-month period last year. The report sates that sites such as ; Factsandchicks.com, fitmales.co.uk, justeyecandy.com, Ksexdolls.com,hotornot.com were viewed by government ministers.
However the coalition’s lustful antics didn’t stop there as dating sites such as EliteSingles and partyline.ie were also accessed. The report also found that gambling was also popular in the Dail as websites such as Paddy Power, William Hill, Sky Bet, Betfair, 888 Poker, Casino.com and Ladbrokes were viewed on a regular basis.
The browsing history of our TD’s has come as somewhat as an embarrassment to the outgoing coalition with a Dail spokesperson giving a tame excuse as explanation as to why the particular sites appeared in their browsing history, saying they may have been accidentally accessed from computer viruses and pop-ups.
