A brand new fertility clinic, SIMS IVF, has just opened in Cork. The new facility in Citygate, Mahon, is expected to create 20 positions.
The company, which is headquartered in Dublin, began in 1997, and is now Ireland’s largest private fertility treatment unit. €3m have been invested in this latest expansion.
Treatments on offer include IVF, sperm donation, donor egg treatment, reproductive immunology, and EEVA, the Early Embryo Viability Assessment test.
Ireland has the highest infertility rate in the whole of Europe.
