The dilapidated state of Ireland’s piping system is laid bare once again, after thousands of Navan residents are without water due to a burst pipe.
The new drama comes just days after a main pipe burst in Drogheda, leaving many without water for an extended period of time.
Now, the main water pipe coming into Navan town has sprung a leak, with the majority of residents left dry.
The incident has also caused localised flooding, forcing Gardai to impose traffic restrictions around the town.
