Good news for job seekers this morning, as healthcare company Zimmer has announced the creation of 250 new jobs at its facility in Oranmore, just outside Galway city.
The new positions are part of a €51m investment, and will be made available on a staggered basis over the next five years.
The company first established a manufacturing facility in Shannon in 2007, and it currently employs 330 people in Ireland.
The new jobs will include sales, marketing, and manufacturing roles. According to company sources, recruitment will commence in the next few months.
