A female police officer has died and a second officer is in a critical condition following a shooting in Paris earlier today.
This incident comes hours after 12 people were gunned down by heavily armed assailants inside the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Several arrests have been made overnight amidst reports that several mosques across France have been targeted in suspected retaliation attacks.
The main suspects in yesterday’s massacre reportedly remain on the loose.
