New statistics shows Irish men earn 13.9% more than women




According to a new report published by the European Commission it is believed that Irish men earn 13.9% more than female counterpart’s.

The report also found that the average EU pay gap is at 16.7%. The narrowest average hourly earnings is in Romania at 4.5% whilst in Estonia the margin is significantly higher at 28.1%.

Meanwhile in the UK it is 20.9%.
