The building of a new train station in West Dublin has been given the go ahead following approvals.
In what is considered a welcome boost by business owners the new station will be built in Pelletstown.
The station which will be in the Manoyth line will be located between both Ashtown and Broombridge stations.
It is expected the new station which was granted planning permission back in 2014, will serve those living in the expanding suburb of Ashtown.
