Conor McGregor maybe taking a well earned break after his epic fight with Nate Diaz last month, but it seems ‘The Notorious’ won’t be out of action for too long as it is becoming ever so likely that the Dubliner will stepping into the octagon this November.
McGregor who is hotly tipped to face Eddie Alvarez in a fight for the lightweight title, will apparently grace The Big Apple on November 12th as the UFC are said to be looking for a major fight to mark it’s first outing in New York after MMA was granted a licence there earlier this year.
It is understood that both parties want the fight to take place at the UFC 205 event, with the only stumbling block being the fact that McGregor is still to defend his featherweight title.
However that issue is now seemingly all but cleared up as Joe Rogan dropped a massive hint during a recent podcast indicating that the highly anticipated fight would take place at Madison Square Garden in just under eight weeks time.
