There was some bad news for taxi drivers after the NTA introduced new restrictions preventing taxis from entering the College Green area in Dublin.
Under the new restrictions taxis travelling on Dame Street and Grafton Street, will no longer be able to use the College Green bus corridor between the hours of 7am and 10am 9n weekday mornings.
It is understood the new restrictions have been implemented after a number of commuters have complained of serious congestion in the area following the introduction of the new cross city luas line.
In announcement made on Monday Garda traffic tweeted message that stated that the new restrictions will apply between the hours of 7am to 10am Monday to Friday.
