As many had falsely speculated, there will be no hard border from the north to south of Ireland.
British Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed today during a major speech about the UK’s next step after they voted to leave the EU last summer that there will be no borders of old and that the historic common ground of Ireland and the UK will remain firmly intact.
The Prime Minister warned that the EU will be torn into “tiny pieces” if it does not give Britain the deal it wants, insisting that she will walk away from negotiations with Brussels if they attempt to give Britain a “bad deal”.
She is putting a hard front out there and said she’ll do no deal rather than a bad one.
