There is now an apparent organised campaign of vandalism and destruction of referendum posters aimed at saving the Eight Amendment.
In the past week Dublin City and various suburban areas around the capital have been targeted by groups of fascistic thugs who have destroyed a significant proportion of No vote posters in what must now clearly be acknowledged as an organised campaign of intimidation and subversion of Irish democracy.
Despite the fact that several people have posted pictures of themselves on social media destroying and stealing posters advocating a No vote there is yet to be any charges pressed despite this being a criminal offence.
