Coldplay fans who did not get a ticket for their favorite band’s gig in Croke Park next summer will just have to keep listening to CDs for the time being, or else pay up exorbitant prices for re-sold tickets.
MCD, the firm behind the band’s management, has confirmed that there will be no second gig next year, despite the fact that the tickets for the July performance were sold out in less than an hour.
Fans were able to buy up to five tickets each, but a large number of tickets began appearing for re-sale at outrageous prices shortly afterwards.
