No White Christmas: Met Eireann say temperatures will remain relatively mild on Christmas Day




 

Met Éireann have said it will not be a white Christmas this year as temperatures are expected to remain relatively mild.

The national forecaster say temperatures this Christmas Day will range between 10-12C and it will be relatively dry but cloud cover is expected throughout the day.

Meanwhile today Christmas Eve, will be slightly colder in the North with temperatures ranging from 3-6C, however the south of the country will be slightly milder with temperatures ranging between 7-12C.

Some scattered showers are also expected to spread across the country later in the day.
