United Airlines has seen its share value plummet a staggering €1.4 billion in less than a week. The share price’s nosedive is said to be mainly due to the Dr Dao debacle last Sunday which saw the 69-yr-old being dragged violently off an overbooked flight.
Meanwhile, a passenger on a Texas to Calgary flight got stung by a stowaway scorpion.
The passenger in question, Richard Bell, was enjoying his business-class lunch when something fell on his head. He grabbed it and realized it was a small scorpion. The animal stung him on the finger right before being terminated with a shoe.
The crew flushed the scorpion’s remains down the toilet and tended to Mr. Bell, who was thankfully given a clean bill of health, and was granted credit for another flight over the incident.
