Comedy legend and former Only Fools and Horses star David Jason has said that he finds the language used the hit BBC series Mrs Brown’s Boys is too strong.

Jason who once again returned to the small screen starring in Still Open All Hours at Christmas told the Mirror newspaper, that although he is a big fan of the show he finds that the language used by Brendan O’Carroll and his co-stars is a bit strong particularly for younger viewers.

Speaking to The Mirror newspaper Jason said: “I think Mrs Brown’s Boys in particular is a very good show, though I do find that perhaps the language is a bit strong for a family but it is very popular and I think it’s very funny.”

“I just find that the language is a bit strong if you want to watch it with your little ones.”

Meanwhile Jason also revealed that he will be starring in more episodes of Still Open All Hours later this year saying the show is doing quite well since it’s return and he won’t refuse his viewing public.

Still Open All Hours is set to air its fourth season later this year.
