A number of flights in the West and south of the country have been delayed and cancelled after problems occurred with flight radar system.
In an announcement this evening both Shannon and Cork Airports have said flights have been delayed and cancelled.
It is not yet known what caused the radar problem but Irish aerospace is currently operating at zero flow.
