The number of people recalled over the medican scan scandal has risen to 45.
It is understood that at least two of these patients are in need of further treatment.
The scan review was prompted by concerns about a number of diagnoses provided by a former member of staff at University Hospital Kerry.
Just over 26,000 scans out of 46,300 have now been reviewed.
