It is thought that around 1,900 ESB customers are still without power this evening following overnight storms.
The ESB say that about 500 people are affected in Enniscorthy whilst it is believed that some 1,400 people are waiting for their service to be restored in the South West.
They also say that crews were working throughout the day restoring power to thousands of homes and businesses.
A spokesperson for the company has said the number is reducing and supply should be restored to all shortly.
