A man aged in his 60s was arrested over the weekend after he cashed a tractor into a garda patrol car in Co Kerry.
The rather bizarre collision which occurred in Rathmore on Sunday afternoon came after Gardaí were pursuing the man after he failed to stop for a routine garda stop on the roadside.
Reports say the tractor driver tried to flee the scene before he crashed into a second patrol car which was located near by.
Although thankfully no one was injured in the incident Gardaí say the man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, criminal damage and endangerment.
He was later taken to Mallow Garda station for questioning.
