One person has tragically been killed and three people sustained injuries as a result of a collision between a van and an ambulance.
The incident took place at Ballygrogan, Rathduff on the N20 Cork to Mallow Road, earlier today.
The van driver, a man believed to be in his mid-30s, died at the scene. The paramedics and the patient had to be freed from the vehicle and were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injurie.
