After a long summer break TDs and Government ministers have gone to another today after it was revealed they will take week’s holidays just one month after coming back to work.
The latest break which will surely anger many as the Dail will be empty from Thursday, October 27, until Tuesday, November 8. It is understood the break will be officially rubber stamped by the Dáil’s new Business Committee tomorrow.
Meanwhile a Government spokesman said the original intention was to proceed until Christmas without a break, but following a meeting of the committee, the break will happen.
