Ongoing drought forces more water restrictions across the Dublin area, starting tonight

It may be raining in some areas of the country, but the long-lasting dry period of the past few weeks means that current water levels are lower than expected.

According to RTE, Irish Water is to impose further restrictions across Dublin from tonight, in an effort to conserve water.

The restrictions will mean that homes and businesses will have a reduced supply between the hours of 10pm to 5am.
