There’s been online outrage after the HSE confirmed that at least 18 women have died as a result of the CervicalCheck controversy.
The Health Service Executive said that so far they have contacted 205 women or families of the 209 women affected by the scandal.
They also revealed that the latest audit shows that in total 18 women died after they were provided with incorrect test results.
The latest announcement comes as the heath also confirmed that in total 7,103 calls have been returned by the CervicalCheck screening service.
