In yet another example of ‘you won’t fit through there’, a lorry transporting bales of hay became wedged inside a Limerick tunnel.
The tunnel carries a 4.65m height limit, while the truck is understood to be carrying a load topping 5m.
The truck caused a great deal of damage to lighting and other equipment inside the tunnel, which is likely to remain partly closed for a number of days.
