The time has come. Questions not only need to be asked but serious answers with realistic action needs to be taken.

Manchester two weeks ago, London less than a day ago and literally no end in sight.

It really is the same scenario over and over again; Islamic terrorist attack happens and immediately “you can’t call them terrorists, it’s not yet proven”, ” we don’t know they’re Muslim “.

The excuse that “it might have been an accident”, “he mightn’t be a Muslim”, are wearing very thin.

When witnesses claim they see a vehicle purposely plowing into pedestrians and more witnesses hear the perpetrators scream ” this is for Allah”, it’s quite easy to deduce what has happened.

Governments have got to act, and act derisively now.

The time for political correctness is over. The time for people having their feelings hurt is over. We need tough decisions, we need clever decisions and need them done now.

Prevention is better than cure and this means we need to stop potential threats before they get a chance to be brought to fruition.

It’s a difficult process to ascertain who truly is willing to kill in the name of Allah and who disavows such atrocities. We need vetting, we need massive surveillance and realistically we need to start looking at an international travel ban, similar to what America will eventually roll out.

President Donald Trump’s plans to keep Americans safe no longer sound ludicrous to the far left. He sounds like he wants to keep his citizens safe and judging by Theresa May, it appears the UK are about to follow suit.

Ireland isn’t a safe haven, we need to be realistic about a possible terror threat here too. The people who shout “oh it’s fear mongering” need to stay quiet and take a back seat.

The time for talking is over.
