South African ParaOlympian, Oscar Pistorius will be a free man from next Tuesday. The 28-yr-old was jailed on October 21st 2014 for the shooting of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp in the bathroom of their plush apartment on Valentine’s Day in 2013.
His release will come almost exactly 12 months since he was sentenced to five years for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
It was revealed today by local television stations ENCA and state broadcaster SABC on their official Twitter accounts today.
