There is once again outrage amongst animal lovers on social media today after it was confirmed that the son of the world famous Cecil the Lion has been shot dead in Zimbabwe by ruthless trophy hunters.
The latest shooting of Xanda the cub of Cecil who came to world came back in 2015 after he was shot dead by dentist Walter Palmer, has once again led to animal rights activists to call for the ban on hunting wild animals in the name of sport.
Xanda aged 6 was brutally killed just outside Lions of Hwange National Park by trophy hunters who are known to regular kill defenceless lions all the name of competition.
The lions death was uncovered after staff at the park discovered Xanda’s remains after tracking his electronic tag which was placed on him whilst he was a young cub.
