President Donald Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood has been destroyed, allegedly by a thug who took a pickaxe to the President’s star.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the LAPD received a phone call from the man who allegedly took a pickaxe to the President’s star on the famous Hollywood strip in Los Angeles.
Local media in LA are saying that the man arrived with a guitar case before taking out the pickaxe to destroy the star.
While he had fled the scene by the time officers arrived, he has since turned himself in and remains in police custody.
It’s understood that the man will likely be charged with felony vandalism.
Supporters for President Donald Trump are saying that they are outraged at the stunt and asked why security didn’t intervene.
It’s understood that there is private security in the area, they struggled to intervene as they do not possess the same powers as law enforcement officers.
