There is widespread outrage on social media this morning after RTE confirmed that well known and often outspoken columnist Katie Hopkins is to appear on the Late Late Show on Friday.
Ms Hopkins 45, who is well known for causing a stir online with her unsavoury comments was confirmed to appear on the show by RTE management yesterday afternoon.
The news of her impending appearence caused outrage online, after she confirmed the news via Twitter, alongside the hashtag #MAGA – meaning Make America Great Again.
Ms Hopkins wrote: “Good news team. I have booked my flight to RTE’S The Late Late Show on Friday.”
“Looking forward to seeing you there.”
