Overcrowding crisis: Over 500 people on trolleys today

It has been reported that 501 people were left languishing in trolleys and wards in hospitals across the country today.

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, Co Louth reported the highest number, 52, with 41 of those placed on trolleys.

Beaumont Hospital in Dublin had 42 people are on trolleys and 5 on wards, according to the INMO.

In Cork University Hospital, 27 were on trolleys with 4 on wards.

And finally, St Lukes Hospital in Kilkenn reported 23 people on trolleys and 12 on wards.
