There was bad news for staff at Bus Eireann as the company have confirmed they implement an overtime ban in a bid to cut spiraling costs at the company.
It is understood staff nationwide were informed about the ban after management sent a number of letters informing them about upcoming changes.
Reports say the company will also introduce a recruitment ban along with the disposing of flexi-hours for clerical staff.
The harsh cuts have come after the company revealed before Christmas that they could become insolvent within 18 months unless strict cost cutting measures were introduced immediately.
