As we reported over the past number of weeks, Vera Twomey has had a mammoth battle on her hands to ironically get her hands on medicinal cannabis which she vows will dramatically help her daughter, Ava’s severe case of epilepsy.
6-yr-old Ava can have up to 20 seizures with her case and her mother Vera has been assured that the medicinal cannabis could get it under control.
Innumerable meetings with the 30-yr-old Minister for Health Simon Harris has been fruitless as Harris continually denies the Cork woman of her medicine.
Vera has even taken in to walking from Cork to Dublin in an effort to raise awareness of her daughter.
You may have noticed, but Facebook users today have changed their status to show support for Vera and her daughter.
The status going around is as follows:
I want our government to legalize medicinal canabis for AVA and TINA and every child it might help.Copy and paste this status and show your support for these children. ?????
