A sick paedophile who molested an innocent 13 year old girl is facing up to 20 years behind bars after a jury of his peers refused to believe his sickening defence.
The man who was found guilty this week, Frederick Bruce Barfield, aged 42, will spend the best part of two decades behind bars after a jury only took one day to find him guilty after he was charged with second degree sexual assault on a minor.
According to The Hot Springs Gazzete, Barfield, who missed a number of trial dates due to ongoing psychiatric treatment and other court hearings, was found guilty after he molested the girl back in November 2014.
Although Barfield repeatedly denied claims of sexual assault, the 42 year old was arrested after his victim informed police of what he had done.

During the follow up investigation Barfield claimed that he only molested in order to teach her a lesson and therefore she would know what it’s like to have to say no
However following a 30 minute deliberation during his one day hearing a jury found him guilty after they failed to believe his defence upon hearing testimony from the victim and her mother.
