Pope Francis arrived back in Rome late last night after a very successful World Meeting of Families.
The popular Pontiff arrived in Dublin airport around 6:10pm Sunday to get onto the St. Aidan Aer Lingus plane.
He was flown to Knock yesterday morning for a reception in front of up to 45,000 people before returning to Dublin for a Mass in the Phoenix Park where up to 500,000 people attended.
The Pope’s visit and indeed images of Ireland have been beamed around the world with reports reaching every country in every language.
