In the latest of a long string of in-flight related incidents, Air Canada flight AC-875 was diverted to Shannon Airport earlier today after the crew noticed a passenger ‘behaving strangely.’
The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300 model, was en route from Frankfurt in Germany to Montreal, when the pilot decided to turn back and land at Shannon.
The man was removed from the aircraft and the flight continued on without further incident.
The passenger in question was met by authorities, but was not arrested. It is believed that he is making alternative arrangements to fly back to Canada.
