Pawn Stars favourite Richard Harrison sadly passes away aged 77

TV star Richard Harrison has sadly passed away aged 77.

Harrison who is best known as ‘Old man’ in the History Channel’s Pawn Stars sadly died at his home this morning it has been revealed.

In a touching tribute to his father, Harrison’s son and co-star Rick, wrote the following post on Instagram: “He passed away this morning surrounded by those he loved.”

“He will be tremendously missed by our family, the team at Gold & Silver Pawn and his many fans the world over. He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad.”

“He lived a very full life and through the History television show Pawn Stars touched the lives of people all over, teaching them the value of loving your family, hard work and humour.”

He added: “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers and ask that we are provided some privacy at this time.”

Harrison had become a fan favourite on the programme which involves a family of pawn brokers who buy and sell off valuable items.

However sadly in recent years Harrison didn’t appear on the show regularly due to declining health.
