There was good news for employees to day as the Government confirmed that the national minimum wage will increase by 30c per hour next January.
The latest increases will now means that workers can earn no less than €9.55 per hour. The calll for the pay increase comes as the low pay commission said that the current figure of €9.35 is not enough for workers especially those who work a full working week.
Under the new terms which will be implemented on January 1st those who work a 40 your week will earn an extra €12 per week.
