Penneys aka Primary may have just wooed the people in the U.S. recently but it seems they have no intention in stopping there as the bargain clothing giant has its sights on becoming a global brand after they opened yet another store in Milan recently.

The giant retailer, which trades under the name Primark outside of Ireland, opened its first ever Italian store at the Il Centro shopping mall, Arese. It is understood the brand spanking new store will employ 400 people, who will all be hired locally.

The new store will apparently have 63 changing rooms and 46 tills. It will also contain a relaxation area for customers to sit and take a break during shopping with access to free Wi-Fi.

Speaking about the launch of Primark in Italy, Paul Marchant, Chief Executive of Primark, told reporters: “We are thrilled to be opening our first store in Italy in the Il Centro shopping centre in Arese, Milan.

“This new Primark store will offer our new Italian customers amazing fashion at amazing prices for all the family.”
