It is finally polling day in the hotly debated Presidential election and one of the six hopefuls has pushed hard to secure his place in the Áras.
Presidential candidate Peter Casey has taken to social media to encourage his supporters to come out and vote by stating that he is the only candidate who says what he believes.
Casey who has gained a lot of support from the public in recent weeks despite criticisms from fellow opponents also said he believes that there is too much political correctness in modern Irish society.
The presidential hopeful who has become one of the favourites to oust current Michael D Higgins, published a series of tweets hoping to gain as much support as possible.
Casey who has already thanked his supporters for their continued support, told his followers that he has been employing people all across Ireland for the last 23 years and knows what they truly want.
