Peter Casey gave an incredible performance on Friday night’s Late Late Show even though there seemed to be a very loaded audience against the Derry man.
Host Ryan Tubridy appeared to really go after Peter, who at one point even asked Tubridy whether or not he’d lost complete control of the interview.
Peter was questioned about his excellence performance in last week’s Presidential race which saw him come second with 342,000 votes, or 23%.
Hijacked by travellers in the audience, Peter handled himself with dignity and at one point asked Tubridy was this a “party political broadcast”.
Peter said that middle Ireland had been squeezed and they need to be represented and listened to.
