Playstation has announced plans to increase the price of its online platform, Playstation Plus, for its European users from the end of August.
The subscription prices will increase up to 25% at the top tier, as follows:
From August 31, prices will go up from £49.99 to €59.99 for a 12-month subscription, £19.99 to €24.99 for three months, and from £6.99 to €7.99 for one month.
The price change will kick in when subscribers renew the service.
Users will still be able to enjoy the current ‘freebies’ included with the service, i.e. two free PS4 games every month, plus several discounts on online services, etc.
