Police arrest four people on suspicion of murder following fatal House fire that tragically killed three young children 




Police in Salford have confirmed this evening that four people on suspicion of  murder following a house fire in the city early this morning.

It is understood all four people including three men aged 23, 20, 18 and one woman aged 20 are being detained in connection with the incident that killed three young children and seriously injured another child and their mother. 

Meanwhile a 24 year old mam was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. 

The arrests come after the three young children were killed at their home in the early hours of this morning. 

It is believed three children aged 14, 8 and 7 all died as a result of the blaze which occurred at a house on Jackson Street, Worsley at 4:58am.

The fire which reportedly ripped through the house also left a fourth child aged 3, with serious injuries which are believed to be life threatening. 

Meanwhile the children’s mother aged in  her 30s was also taken to hospital in serious condition.
