Police in Belfast have issued an appeal for information after a man was brutally attacked with a hammer as he a cemetery in the city.
The PSNI say the 24-year-old man was set upon by a number of masked men who were understood to be driving a white-coloured Hyundai car, at approximately 2.30pm on Thursday, April 21. It is believed the man suffered severe injuries to his leg and was hospitalised as a result of the assault.
The PSNI is appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
